Dean's Update

May 2015

All of us at the Jepson School love the event-filled season of spring, bittersweet as it is, and celebrating the successes of our graduating class. I am always in awe of the wide range of interests and accomplishments of our students. Students in this year’s class competed in the International Leadership Association CASE competition, earned national recognition at the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Competition, played collegiate or intramural sports, performed with a cappella groups, conducted research, filled leadership positions on campus, and more, and they left indelible marks on the University of Richmond community.

I was honored to recognize some of their achievements at Finale, our senior recognition ceremony. Earlier in the semester, I was touched that alumna Jessica Bigby, ’04, joined us at Senior Banquet to help us present this year’s Servant Leader Award to Aarti Reddy, ’15.

Spring is also the season for rejuvenation. I look forward to the challenge of rejuvenating our scholarly and teaching endeavors now and in the months ahead. I also look forward to hearing about the ways in which the Class of 2015, and all of our alumni, are rejuvenating their communities and workplaces. We know you’ll continue to make us proud.
