Dean's Update

December 2014

As the semester comes to a close and we look forward to the holiday season, I continue to be grateful that University of Richmond and Robert S. Jepson, Jr. and Alice Andrews Jepson so generously and wisely endowed the Jepson School of Leadership Studies more than two decades ago. In November, we admitted the largest class in the School’s history. The 2014-15 Jepson Leadership Forum, “Into the Fray: Global Perspectives on Conflict,” has drawn record crowds. At the request of many of you, we are live streaming the events this year for the first time in the program’s history. (Visit jepson.richmond.edu to learn more about events and to watch.) An alumni event in New York, which was sponsored by the Jepson Alumni Corps, and another in Savannah, helped us reconnect with our alumni and other alumni from the University. We were delighted to hear about the many ways in which our former students are putting theory to practice in so many different fields around the globe. In short, there is much to be thankful for this year. I’m looking forward to 2015!
