Dean's Update
April 2014
The tulips are blooming in Stern Plaza—a signal that it is time to celebrate the achievements of the graduating Jepson class. The class of 2014, an extraordinary group of seniors, will commence their life away from the Jepson School and the University in a few short weeks. We began saying goodbye at senior banquet a few weeks ago. We also recently showcased a record number of research projects at the Jepson Research Symposium on such topics as the moral responsibility of followers and leadership in health care. Students will defend their honors theses soon. Dr. Bruce Heilman, chancellor of the University, will give the keynote address at Finale, our senior recognition and award ceremony.
We also look forward to seeing more alumni than ever at Reunion Weekend. This year we add another reunion year, bringing our total to four. We will host a reception during Reunion Weekend and unveil a specially commissioned portrait of Bob and Alice Jepson, the School’s benefactors, during that joyful time. Know that you are always welcome to stop by or send an email for conversations and updates.
