Fall Timeline for Admission

The Jepson School provides opportunities during the fall semester for students interested in leadership studies to learn more about the application process and the program. Students are eligible to apply for admission during the fall semester of their second year and must have taken or be enrolled in either Leadership and the Humanities (LDST 101) or Leadership and the Social Sciences (LDST 102).

Information Sessions

Students interested in pursuing a major or minor in leadership studies must attend an information session. Sessions are 60 minutes and cover the application process and information about the program. Students who are unable to attend should contact the associate dean for student and external affairs.

Applications: 

Applications will be available to eligible students after they have attended an information session. Applications and faculty recommendations are due no later than 11:59 p.m., Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Students will be notified of admission through email by TBD.

Jepsonian Institute (Orientation): Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m., Jepson Hall, Room 118
*Acceptance forms must be submitted by this date.

Accepted students must attend the school's orientation program. The associate dean for student and external affairs and the associate dean for academic affairs advise students on spring course schedules and discuss the required Jepson internship, study abroad, and the honors track. Orientation is an opportunity for students to ask questions, learn more about the curriculum, and think strategically about their Jepson experience.

The Jepson School formally welcomes new students into the program at Prelude.
