  • Getting to Campus and checking in.

    Check-in and packet pick-up is from 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at The Web in the Student Activities Complex, GPS Address: 53 Westhampton Way, Richmond, VA 23173.

    FROM RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

    The ride from airport to campus takes 25-30 minutes. Taxis are available at the airport. The average taxi ride costs around $50.00.

    Directions for taxi drivers:

    Take 64 West into Richmond. Merge onto I-95 N toward Washington. Take exit 79. Stay to the left to merge onto I-195 S, the Downtown Expressway. Continue on I-195 S for approximately two miles. Take the Cary St./VA-147 Exit. Bear right on the ramp and turn right onto Cary Street. Continue straight on Cary for approximately two miles and pass through the intersection at Three Chopt Road. At the bottom of the hill, bear right at the intersection onto westbound River Road. Continue straight for approximately .75 mile and make the second right onto College Road. Take your first right into the Westhampton Gate entrance onto Keller Road and take the first left onto Westhampton Way. The Web - located in the Student Activities Complex - is the first building on your left.

    If you would like to reserve a car service in advance you must do so at least 24 hours in advance and pre-pay. Please tell the representative that you are using the University Richmond rates of $55 from the Amtrak Station and $50 from Richmond International Airport.

    FROM AMTRAK - STAPLES MILL ROAD STATION

    The ride from the train station to campus takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

    Directions for taxi drivers:

    Depart the station via Staples Mill Road/US-33 east (a left turn from the parking lot). Turn right onto VA-356 west/Glenside Drive. Continue to follow VA-356 west/Glenside Drive (approximately 2.8 miles) until the intersection with Three Chopt Road. Turn left on Three Chopt Road. Go straight through the traffic light at Patterson Avenue. Continue for .5 miles, and turn right onto Boatwright Drive. Go down the hill, stay straight and continue past the lake. Take your first left into the Westhampton Gate entrance onto Keller Road and take the first left onto Westhampton Way. The Web - located in the Student Activities Complex - is the first building on your left.

  • Late Check-In

    If your travel plans are delayed for some reason and you miss the 4 - 7 p.m. check-in time period on Thursday, June 4, please go to the UR Campus Police station in the Special Programs Building on campus for assistance. They will have your packet and assist you with entering Keller Hall after hours.
