Evan Baum
Dr. Evan S. Baum, ’03, is director of strategic customer engagement within the product strategy organization at Workday, a leading provider of enterprise software applications. He joined Workday in 2016 and has been in his current role since 2023. Prior to moving into the technology industry, Evan held academic and student affairs leadership roles within higher education at the University of Maryland, College Park, George Washington University, and George Mason University.
In addition to serving on the Jepson School Executive Board of Advisors, he serves as a professional mentor with Braven, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering first-generation college students by equipping them with skills, networks, experiences, and confidence to secure strong first jobs after graduating from college.
Baum holds a doctorate and a master’s from George Mason University, a master’s from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a bachelor’s in leadership studies and political science from the University of Richmond. Originally from Westfield, New Jersey, he lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Beth.
