Whether you're seeking intellectual stimulation or
social interaction, you'll find it at Jepson at some of these
upcoming events.
The Forum: This year the Jepson Leadership
Forum examines the intersection of science, society and leadership
in a series of thought-provoking discussions on topics including
evolution, the environment, bioethics and the robotics revolution.
Some 75 alumni attended the Oct. 10 multi-media presentation with
biologist Sean Carroll and enjoyed being seated together in a VIP
section and sharing some conversation at the coffee bar and book
signing reception after the lecture. The next Forum event features a
faculty-led discussion after a free screening of the highly publicized
film "An Inconvenient Truth" at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the
University's Camp Concert Hall. Those interested in alumni
functions related to the Forum, should email
jepson@richmond.edu or call
Sue Robinson at 287-6627.
