After Emancipation and the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, through Reconstruction and the Jim Crow and the modern civil rights eras, from slavery and institutionalized injustice to today, we live in a place forever defined in part by its complex past. The community is invited to a conversation about race and social justice in the context of the Forum’s look at the legacy of Lincoln’s leadership.
