Beyond the University of Richmond campus, Jepson's faculty contributes to making leadership studies a priority in higher education worldwide. Faculty members organize national conferences, hold leadership roles in scholarly associations such as the International Leadership Association (ILA), and lecture around the world. They consult on topics related to leadership at colleges and universities, businesses, and government agencies both in the U.S. and overseas.
Jepson faculty members also participate and hold various roles in the ILA, the global network for those who study, practice, and teach leadership. Several faculty members have held academic appointments overseas.
Other associations include:
*Joanne B. Ciulla is currently serving as an adjunct professor at the Center for Leadership Ethics at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. In addition, she has held the UNESCO Chair in Leadership Studies at the United Nations International Leadership Academy in Jordan and regularly lectures in Europe, Africa, and elsewhere.
*Gill Robinson Hickman received the ILA's Leadership Legacy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
*Terry L. Price directs the summer study abroad program Jepson at Cambridge, a program that is in partnership with the School of Law.
The Jepson School welcomes visiting scholars and lecturers from around the world to conduct research, teach courses and help students gain a global perspective through lectures and in-depth discussions.
