Engagement with Community
Civic engagement has always been a hallmark of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies.
- Jepson students have an imprint. Some 300 students a year perform community service at approved partner agencies and sites under the auspices of the "Justice & Civil Society" course.
- Since the School's inception in 1992, faculty and staff have been involved in numerous projects with middle and high schools. In 2005, to better organize this outreach, Jepson created The Center for Leadership and Education in partnership with the School of Continuing Studies. It serves high school educators, administrators and offers some student programs.
- The thematic Jepson Leadership Forum is a free lecture series open to the public. The series is developed with help from cross-campus and community partners.
- The Jepson School's Community Programs Office organizes public events and community partnerships for the school. Interested? jepson@richmond.edu

Participating Online
Many Jepson-sponsored events are posted to the University's YouTube Channel or archived online. Some lectures and programs may also be retrieved from Boatwright Library's Media Resource Center for viewing on campus. Some programs that are closed to the general public become "open" with online coverage and videos.
