Jablin Research Fellowship

Jepson School of Leadership Studies alumna Adrienne Capps (’98) established the Jablin Research Fellowship to honor the memory of Dr. Fredric Jablin, who taught courses in organizational communications and research methodology to scores of Jepson students from 1994-2004. (Pictured: Jablin in classroom setting.)

The first of five $2,000 fellowships was awarded to a Jepson student to engage in scholarly research during the summer of 2006. Subsequent fellowships will be awarded for each of the next four summers, ending in 2010. Jepson students conducting research in a wide variety of fields under the tutelage of either a professor at the University of Richmond or a qualified mentor elsewhere may apply for this fellowship. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to fulfill their Jepson internship requirement by conducting research.

Interested students should submit an application to Dr. Teresa Williams, Associate Dean for Student and Community Affairs. The deadline will be announced in the spring semester for summer 2008 fellowships. A faculty committee reviews the applications.
