Alumni: Making a
Difference
Jepson graduates go into the world
with the knowledge and desire to change the world for
the better—to
be good citizens and live lives of consequence. Nearly
all of them do just that.
Some 25 percent of alumni go
straight to top graduate schools after Richmond. Many
seek more education later. They successfully pursue
careers ranging from business to non-profit, medicine to
politics, law to fine arts. In a recent survey,
two-thirds of alumni agree or strongly agree that the
Jepson experience greatly influenced their career paths.
Jepson graduates are cognizant of
their place in, and their responsibility to, their
professions, their organizations and their communities—a
trait that follows them far beyond the borders of campus
and throughout their lives.
As they leave Richmond, Jepson
graduates are equipped with the skills and abilities to
successfully forge whatever path they choose. Recruiters
and graduate schools alike consistently cite Jepson
graduates for strength in the areas they value most,
including: communication, critical thinking, ethical
understanding, social responsibility, interpersonal
ability, leadership understanding, self-managed
learning, presentation skills and teamwork.
